went home damn late on friday night (which is a saturday morning) cos went to help out at np idol. shd have went off with julie and peggy but i was holding onto moneys$s$s and tickets and keys so i tot i might just stay a bit as i look at the people scurrying downstairs. who would have time for me? so i was already at 2nd level, i started to coil wire, as olivia climbed underneath 2nd level on the row of seats, trying to pull some wires free as i pull the wires up.
i missed most part of the show, only managed to catch the jazz guy, Nathan singing and the winner announcement, which we managed to catch after we decided to pack up and shift our things and go up to level 2. julie was saying the other day as we looked at the np idol poster at the lift lobby, that we might actually asked the nathan guy for a ticket on the day since we'll be at the reception counter. and true enough, on that day, julie asked nathan for ticket as he tried to climbed into the reception area over the barricade behind me, illegally. i didn't even notice him, cos i can't recognise his face. so i can't be bothered and continued selling the tickets. it was julie who asked him for a ticket when she caught sight of him climbing over. but then again, he's got a good voice. hope that he will be seen often as the host claimed. such a young talent, and i saw chin boo nodding his head to the music, smiling happily. must be good music since he's a jazz drummer.
talking abt chin boo, i haven't start on his assignment yet... haha hmmm well have to do it tml no matter what.
so then after the np idol, everybody's shagged and tired, but we still went to KAP for a meal! who can say no to free food? tho i can't really finish. i think i ate too much fries. me john joel and royston had 5 packs of fries cos we refused to pass mutton his share. plus we had ice cream as 'first course'. so at my side of the table, all the jokes are about mutton. i think there was a time some joke abt mutton travelled from the other side of the table to my side. i think it was about smoking armpit hair. only jokes on mutton have the ability to circulate so far and such a long time. he should be proud of it. and the table is made up to nearly 10 tables, each taking 2 people. mutton had to share table with tat and mail. HOOOORRRRRR
anyways forgot to mention, the goodies bags are very good this time. there's chips, vouchers (eh i dun find it useful haha), pimple cream and mineral water. there's snapple and prerrier (how to spell?) to be picked up at the entrance area. managed to get one snapple to drink. peach. there's little car pictures from cars in the chips bag. haha just finished watching cars a few days ago so i still feel for cars. quite cute actually.
and and one more thing... the np idol ppl gave us (me, peggy and julie) a keychain with our names on it, each... haha i like it... looks really pretty... =D amazed by how the guy cut our names in such complicated fonts. haha!
alright, i enjoyed myself a lot, even if we're just sitting outside talking to each other, exclaiming in american accent, demanding to see the stamps on the people's hands everytime they try to enter, laughing at people tried every single door cos every single one of them are locked except for one, listening to danny's plan to put the barricade at the only door which is unlocked and opened and claimed tt ppl who are smart will see the barricade. actually tt plan didn't really succeed cos ppl still tried to open every other doors. me and peggy laughed at danny's attempt to place one more barricade and almost slipped in the process. he regained his posture in the most gracious way, like an ice skater. and act blur, as usual.
okay i shd stop... quite a shit load of stuff to read hahaha! thx for making this far cya!!!
as usual, i'm rushing for something tt's gg to due tml tt's y i'm blogging cos i'm quite bored. this time i'm rushing for audio test which is going to happen in 7 hrs time and i have loads of stuff to read. only tt i can't concentrate after i went to drink soup. can't concentrate after my ma shut down my sis's laptop to sleep. she was playing some mahjong game which served as a distraction for me as my eyes will occasionally roll to the left to peek. but still i must say i had studied quite a lot even with the game on over there than right now. but it had been quite tiring tho i'm not tt sleepy yet. i hope i can finish skimming thru at least before i sleep. so that i can sleep in peace.
just checked the resfest website, in hope of seeing unrest being listed. but it was not. oh well, at least it had the standard that the school was confident to send it in for a competition/festival. and i can write tt in the cv. very impt.
