monday blues

yesterday's monday blues. i hate mondays sometimes. i was late for work. but i didn't have much to do when i arrive anyway. was waiting for stuff so that i can start. but i hate mondays still. i woke up late, at the time that i'm supposed to get out of house. but i did not cab down. i hate the traffic at cte. and when i finally started, i kept missing shots. so i had to digitise again and again, cos i did not find out where everything was. plus the intern is very sick so i did not want to bother her.

now i'm waiting to have lunch, waiting for tapes to be digitised, acting busy by staying in my room rather than loitering outside. office today is much quieter. most of the interns went for shoot. (ie most of the usual lunch kakis not around) so all the interns gone, left with like maybe 2 of us of the usual lunch group. wonder where to eat. it's bloody raining out there. i r not feel like walking anywhere. i'm wrapped with a jacket and a sweater now haha... it's so cold here, with 2 aircons blowing at my back at the same time.

so anyways, yesterday's monday blues. i thought i could finish by evening. but i was wrong. i stayed till midnight. i could not see the edit in my head, so i had a hard time piecing everything up. plus with the digitising that i need to keep on doing. i could only sit down with the director by evening to watch the 2 scenes. i took the whole afternoon to edit 2 scenes. tt's taking a very long time. and i got the sequence slightly wrong too. but i'm taking over from another editor so it wasn't easy for me i guess. then i took the night to finalising the edit with the director and tried to cut down shots. but we were too stoned to continue. and we decided to stop, since the director has a shoot the next day anyway. then came the news that i need to work weekends. possibly weekendSSS. and i thought i have another 4 day week again. then i went for teh late and i went home bloody late too. mood was bloody dampened too. and tt's not fun.

but then again, there shall be some rainbow after the rain so it won't be so bad after all.. hopefully.
