Production Shoot: Hua Dan

8 days of shoot and tt's finally over!!! tiring but fruitful ... the worry now is on how everything look like... i think i'll only start to worry my head off by january. by then i have to do sound design... loads of hours in front of the protools till the tso devils chase me off, skipped lunches and late dinners, feasting on junk food, very very cold room... just like those editing and audio post days.

i been wanting to post pictures during the days of shoots on this blog but they can't seemed to load. but it works now after resizing them... here they are, the selected few.

SLATE !!!

the beloved cart named serials, shared between the sound and camera department

how the shared cart is being used

my audio setup

boom in frame

the sound department slacks
(department sounds like a huge team but the truth is there are only 2 ppl in it)

hua dan crew (reelway pictures) - minus one member who was packing her props
(me sound, francis producer, adam director, louis DP, khien editor)

Super 16 film camera

the unplanned same shirt day

the many equipments... this is just part of it

overnight shoot

the day the camera went out of the window

the many cutters used

the challenge to load the lorry everyday at the end of shoot

and no, we are not making a horror film

this instead (that's a crew and a cast)

these are the selected ones... suddenly i don't feel that my own shoot is over. but then again, felt more relaxed now that the shoot is over and that i'm helping out with another group. and this group that i'm helping out shall be the last production shoot i'm having in school. i end off with the same role that i took on in the first production shoot (location video) i ever had: boom operator. maybe i'll have more photos to post by then =)
