blue bayou

i'd just wasted my time the whole day digitising and making sure the clips are in the right format. it appears that i'd neglected checking the setup yesterday when i showed the intern how to digitise. so now in turn, i have to waste my edit slot for today. i'm still sitting here waiting for the tapes to be digitised in the right format. might as well. better than finding out problems after editing the whole thing. that will be hell. meanwhile i wondered how to finish the edit by tml. that is according to the schedule. but i know since forever, that the schedule can never be accurate (but then again, what's new?).

and i am going to treasure these 2 weeks of work. all the interns are leaving within these two weeks. i think i will miss them. they had been the motivation to drag myself out of bed every morning to work, and feel the dread when i get scheduled night shifts. haha. we can always cover up our stress by talking and laughing about it. that's what i liked most about lunch. we'll always look forward to lunch and have more discussion about where to eat than doing the work.

and also the bitch fest in my edit suite. we can close the door so the ppl outside won't be able to hear.

the office will be so cold and barren when they leave. i think the motivation next time will probably be finishing up work on time so that i can go home early.

one more tape to go... i think i'll go home by bus. dun want to stay late.
