blue train

it sucks to end your day when you can't have a comfortable journey home. it makes the day worse than it already is. tt was last night. a day's work doing other projects when i've got another deadline to catch up. i think the scheduling is fucked. everything else was squeezed into a day. how the hell can i finish up what i have to do. fuck the plans i tried to organise myself to do for the day. what makes it worse is that i'm still adjusting and i'm bloody slow. i've just got used to one system, then i was switched to another. just when i've got used to working at night, i'm put to working in the day. and now i'm used to working in the day, i have to get used to working at night for the next couple of weeks. but tt's okay. as i struggled with the keyboard and mouse, the directors (for different projects) are quite patient. maybe they think i'm an intern. most ppl do.

after staring at 3 screens for almost 10 hrs, i went groggy eyed and stoned as i sat around waiting for my colleague to have dinner (or supper?) together. then after we're almost done eating, an intern came and told us the mrt (clarke quay) is not available. i decided to walk to raffles place mrt. what makes it even more depressing for me is walking past ppl sitting outside the pubs drinking, having fun and looking forward to a bright weekend.

on the mrt, 2 stinky old men sat next to me, one on each side. it is one of my worst ride home. but i want to sit cos i'm lazy to stand. so i just sat through the journey. luckily they left halfway through my journey. their smell lingered on for awhile. it makes me feel like i'm surrounded by bad aura.

now, i'm sitting at the office, digitising tapes. outside is bright and sunny. long john silver is quite tempting from outside the window. i think i'm alone in the office. though i thought i heard sound coming from outside. okay i shall stop now the laptop is lagging like hell. this laptop had been making my day bad each day. bye now... asian kungfu generation will entertain me for now.

yo spidey

yes indeed i'm proud to have a free ticket to catch spiderman 3 today (30th apr). given by the boss. i went with my other colleagues who got the tickets too. it was a huge theatre. i beamed as i sat there, on the row with a paper stuck to the side saying "reserved". we didn't care who it's reserved for... we just want centre seats. and anyways the sides are filled up (surprisingly). the special effects or whatever is enough to get u to sit up. esp so during the parts when spiderman swings around , or when he fights. fast fast cuts. some characters remind me of some other character from some other film though. but i won't say which if not it's not fun for ppl who've not watch it yet. you watch it for special effects, and special effects. i don't know but that's how i feel as the credits roll and ppl filing out of the theatre. was a little disappointed when ppl starts to leave the theatre at the last scene before the credits appear. what an insult to the film.

=)
