loving the alien

how can some songs just make you want to listen to them even more every single time? i've not wasted money on this velvet revolver cd. i think it's nice to keep a few good cds in ur cupboard once in a while. it also makes me feel better. but surprisingly i have yet owned a radiohead cd. hmm maybe i'm just waiting for the sale haha. and i'm waiting for their new album.

i've caught baybeats for the past 2 days. it wasn't as good as the past years. i don't feel the loss of not watching. maybe it's because i didn't know the bands. only performance i've enjoyed was plain sunset.

as i stood waiting around with danielle, a stampede marched past us towards this smaller stage in esplanade park. plain sunset deserved the big stage at makansutra. but anyway, it's enjoyable since i'd known some of their songs. it was fun. you see ppl moshing. the mosh pit is the entire enclosed area where they have to get past the bag checking people. the location for this stage is almost like in a movie, catching an underground gig kind of feeling, cos you have to walk under this bridge and all the traffic busy above you. everytime i walked under the bridge, i'd imagined a crane from top to bottom of the bridge then dolly in or something, to the stage area. then i'm standing up there with a tele or a les paul.
